Hello all,
Were
going into fall with a big show season, Red River Valley Fair, State Fair of
Texas, Louisiana State Fair and now a new addition for our western members, the
Arizona State Fair, Phoenix in October. Go the Web site to find out all the
details. We are happy and excited to add this prestigious show to the AMZA show
circuit and continue to make every effort to support all members in all areas of
the country. BIG thanks to Brenda Wood for her hard work to get this show off
the ground and do the leg work needed to make it happen.
Bernie and Dottie are working hard to update the new web site and get it
rolling. they are giving it a new facelift and making it more user friendly. We
welcome any input or suggestions. Please bear with us while the transformation
takes place, they have a lot of new and exciting ideas and changes in the works.
It will be worth the wait! Thanks to Dottie and Bernie, it is a daunting task. We appreciate your patience while we continue to grow and improve. AMZA has
grown much faster than we ever imagined. When we started the organization
we knew the Miniature Zebu breed needed an organization to promote, preserve and
support the breed and it's members. I am proud of the work we have done thus
far. We have taken an obscure breed of cattle and put them on the map. We have
increased the awarness, value, diversity of use and importance of the breed in a
short time. Something no other organization was able or willing to do. It has
taken a lot of hard work, but worth every minute. We are fortunate to have a
membership of amazing people who continue to prove the value of the breed and
friendship. Thanks to all of you for your continued support and we will continue to work
hard to earn it. Until next time, David |
