Official Show rules and regulations

These shows are Official American Miniature Zebu Association sanctioned shows and their rules shall govern.

Miniature Zebu cattle registered with any other registry other than the AMZA are welcome and may be shown at double the entry fee.  Only American Miniature Zebu Association (AMZA) registered animals will be able to win “official legs” towards their Permanent Grand Champion, “PGCH” status.

The American Miniature Zebu Association will allow animals to be registered at the show for the $25.00 registration fee to AMZA members and allow any wins at the show to be official.

A photocopy of your AMZA registration papers sent in with your entries and will expedite check in. ALL animals entered in the show must have the AMZA original or a photocopy of every animal entered at time of check in. A photocopy is recommended. If you have already sent in a photocopy with your entries nothing else is required.

It is recommended that every show animal has some sort of permanent identification. It is not necessary now, but eventually all miniature zebu cattle shown will need to be identified. This could be tattoos, microchips, ear tags or brands, anything permanent.

Please check your animals carefully, any animal that show’s signs of illness or infectious disease can and will be barred from the show. We are not requiring health certificates, but the show committee has the last word as to animals of questionable health. There will be no refund of animals deemed sick or unhealthy. We all must be responsible breeders and exhibit good sportsmanship at all times. We are sorry for this disclaimer, but we have a responsibility to all our exhibitors, as a quality and professional show is our goal.
