Times: Friday Nov. 9th show starts at 10:00 a.m. Saturday Nov. 10th show starts at 10:00 a.m.

Entry Dead Line and Late fees: Entry deadline for the club show is October 1st, entries received after that date will be $5.00 per head more.
REMEMBER! Entry deadlines for the State fair of Louisiana entries is Sept. 7th

R ules: All Miniature Zebu cattle entered in the shows must have their original AMZA registration certificate or a photocopy presented at check in. In order to expedite check in, please send in a photocopy of the AMZA registration papers on all animals entered to show with your Saturday entries to Jim Mannos.

Earliest arrival: 8:00 a.m. Thursday, November 8th

Arrival deadline 5:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8th

Check-in deadline: 8:00 a.m. Friday, November 9th

Friday AMZA Show starts: 10:00 a.m. November 9th

Saturday Nadu-Zebu club show starts: 10:00 a.m. November 10th

Begin release 6pm Sunday, November 11th (exhibitors may stay until Sunday)

Premiums: The State Fair of Louisiana will be paying $1000.00 in premiums for the AMZA show on Friday,
AMZA will be matching the premiums with a total payout of $2,000 in premiums!

Please Note: The State Fair Show Entry Deadline was September 7th, 2007. If you have any problem entering online or downloading the forms, please send a second copy of the Friday entries and I will pass it along to the Fair. RememberÉ You must send a check for the State Fair entries also, they are $30.00 per class! Very important!

Pens & Bedding: Tie outs and initial bedding are included with your State Fair entries at no extra charge. The State Fair also provides the clean up after the shows. You can bring dividers for tie out pens to separate your animals, feed/tack etc. Feel free to advertise/sell cattle at the fair; however, you may not bring animals for sale if they are not entered in the show.

SATURDAY SHOW, November 10th IS SPONSORED BY NADU-ZEBU:

MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO NADU-ZEBU.

The discounted entry fee for the Saturday Show will be $20 per head if received by September 30th.
ALL entries post marked after October 1st will be $25.00 per head. We offer a discount for on time entries as it allows us time to construct a quality show program for our exhibitors.

Exhibitors are encouraged to return their entries by the deadline to ensure that their entries and ads are published in the show program and that tie out areas are assigned. Please note that more restrictive rules apply to the State Fair of Louisiana entries. Please be reminded that no animal can be shown in the Friday show that is not shown in the show on Saturday.

The Saturday Show entry fees are discounted as we will NOT be paying premiums for this show, we will be giving rosettes.

 

Please use the State Fair of Louisiana Class number for your entries in both Friday and Saturday shows

Classes 1-6 for Heifer calves Classes 9-12 for Sr. Cows Classes 15-18 for Bull calves Classes 21-24 for Sr. Bulls

Classes 27-28 for Steers Champion Challenge classes will be free and held immediately after the Cow, Bull and Steer champion classes.

 

SATURDAY (ONLY) SPECIALTY CLASSES:

 

JACK-POT COLOR CLASS

Any Miniature Zebu of ANY color or color combination can enter. This class will be a jack-pot class and all the entry fees will be given to the winner. This is a FUN class only, and is meant to expose the variety of colors available in Miniature Zebu cattle. Any age and any color may enter, there is no limit to the number of cattle you may enter in this class! The Judge will determine the winner, and may pick a panel of NON-CONTESTANTS to help determine the winner.

 

JACK-POT ZEBU BREED CHARACTER CLASS

This class is offered to spotlight the importance of the unique Òbreed specific lookÓ of Miniature Zebu Cattle. The judge will be considering the breed character ONLY of the animals entered in this class. Bring your most extreme animal in breed character into this class and show the world why Miniature Zebu cattle are so revered!
